Preparing for Your Wedding
We would llike to first congratulate you on your engagement! It is a great joy that St. Joseph Catholic Church can share in the great joy of your wedding. Below you will find the information you need to get your wedding scheduled and begin the Wedding Preparation process.
Scheduling
Please contact Stacy in the Parish Center by calling 812-482-1805 or click here to fill out a contact form. We ask that you leave six months before your wedding date for marriage preparation. Once you make contact with Stacy she will explain everything you need to reserve the St. Joseph Catholic Church for your wedding.
Wedding Preparation
Wedding Preparation at St. Joseph is aimed at helping you see the vision God has for your marriage. You will sit down with one of our parish priests for 5 to 6 sessions to review the Church's understanding of the Sacrament of Marriage and plan your wedding day. In addition to the sessions with the priest you can either choose to attend an Unveiled Marriage Retreat or meet with a Sponsor Couple. If this sounds overwhelming we assure you the priest will explain everything and make the process as stress free as possible.
